“Today Appro has 14 R&D members and 56 workers in its factory,” says Frank Street CCTV’s Abie Ali. “We were very impressed with the quality of Appro products. Its cameras and quad processors have been recently used in installations at Alexander Forbes new IT section and Edgardale.

“The image quality is very good indeed,” said Ali. “Resolution remains impressively high, camera switching is very clean with no disturbance at the switching point, and replay of multiplexed recording is also very clean.”

The multiplexer features high resolution (910 x 612), full duplex operation, and auto and user adjustable VCR sync, multi-screen display format, activity detection, RS232 port, bounce free sequencing, 2x zoom, on-screen time, title and setup menu, auto VCR speed detection, alarm timer, priority recording on the standard models and motion detection on the premium models.
