IEI Eze Pad - multifunctional keypad

The IEI Eze Pad has quietly established itself as a standard among multifunction keypads. Used by installers of all types of perimeter detection and access control, the IEI Eze Pad has proved its versatility many times over. With the capacity to handle 10 individual users, the Eze Pad copes with most small access control applications requiring an aesthetically pleasing, outdoor weatherproof keypad. The IEI Eze Pad is well priced to suit the cost conscious customer, and boasts non-volatile memory (for complete information storage during a power loss), a programmable relay output time (1-90 s), and a variable power supply capability (between 10 and 16 V d.c.).

Hi-Sharp 12" monochrome high resolution monitor

Elvey International 's entrance into the CCTV market through its new Building Management division is spearheaded by a number of leading international manufacturers. Hi-Sharp is one of the world's prominent manufacturers of quality high resolution monitors and cameras, and the high resolution HS-BM122 12" monochrome monitor has been certified by SABS to have over 1000 of TV lines resolution.

With video loop-through and a 75 y high impedance switch, the monitor can be used for a variety of installations where high resolution images are required. The monitor can be rack mounted in its enamelled steel case. The Hi-Sharp monitor has a large number of international certifications including: UL, CE, CSA, FDA, FCC, CUL, TUV, GOST. Despite all the above impressive credentials, the monitor is highly cost-effective.

Samsung - affordable digital CCTV cameras

Samsung Electronics, in partnership with Elvey Building Management, has achieved unexpected success with the new range of digital CCTV cameras. The cameras use digital signal processing in conjunction with a 1/3" Super HAD CCD which offers more than 330 line horizontal resolution in the SCC-130P and 480 lines horizontal resolution in the SCC-131P. This results in a high sensitivity of 0,7 lux (F1.2, 50IRE), particularly good in a colour CCTV camera.

The cameras, which feature backlight compensation, and automatic white balance control, accept either DC or video control iris lenses. The camera also accepts either C or CS lenses without an adapter. The camera has a built-in anti-ground loop isolation transformer. It is not susceptible from magnetic or electric fields. The required power supply can vary from 20-28 V a.c. 50 Hz to 10,8-30 V d.c. making it extremely versatile for the professional CCTV installer.

Both these Samsung cameras are exceptionally competitive compared to other digital CCTV cameras of this standard.
