The DX9100 is the latest addition to Pelco's Enterprise Class digital video recorder (DVR) family. The DX9100 features 16 looping video inputs with variable recording rates from 7,5 images per second (ips) to 30 ips per camera. Internal storage options range from 500 GB to 1,5 TB. Multiple DX9100 recorders and DX9100 viewstations can be linked over a local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN), controlling thousands of cameras to be recorded and viewed simultaneously.

Recording options include event-based recording - a result of internal video motion detection or an alarm condition - maximising hard disk usage by minimising storage requirements, or continuous 24/7 recording for uninterrupted coverage. Continuous recording or event-based recording can be programmed individually for each camera with daily schedules enabling maximum flexibility.

When integrated with Pelco's matrix switchers, failsafe recording can be achieved through the DX9100VS Viewstation's advanced DVR Management application and an additional DX9100 recorder. The DX9100 is also fully compatible with the DX9000 series of DVRs.
