DS2, the flagship video multiplex recorder from CCTV specialists Dedicated Micros, has been voted CCTV Product of the Year by UK installers in the Professional Security Installer 2003 Product awards. Security installers were invited to vote for the security solutions that have most impressed them in terms of reliability and technical quality.
DS2 offers a combination of video multiplexing, digital recording, network video transmission and dome control in one self-contained, easy to use and install package. The DS2 contains two internal hard disks that provide up to two months continuous digital recording. All hard disk recording has a digital signature applied and is accessible to the user at the touch of a button, or via powerful GOTO and event preview facilities.
The DS2 also features a remote network support facility, allowing the operator to make system adjustments over the network without the need for a site visit.
