Global company appointed to Automotive Supplier Park

June 2003 News

The Supplier Park Development Company (SPDC) has appointed Group 4 Falck, the world's second largest security company as its security partner in the Automotive Supplier Park (ASP) that it has developed at Rosslyn.

The Automotive Supplier Park is a grouping of different technologies, suppliers and service providers to automotive manufacturers in the greater Gauteng region, the rest of South Africa and internationally.

While Group 4 Falck has operations in over 80 countries and an annual turnover of £2,5 bn, it rates as the third largest security company in southern Africa. The company has extensive experience in South Africa with over 1000 blue chip clients across a spectrum of industries. Within the local automotive industry it provides security services for major manufacturers and suppliers.

Leon Mans, operations director for Group 4 Falck, said: "Our international background gives us access to some of the most advanced service solutions in the world. This enables us to ensure that our clients are exposed to the most effective security and safety measures available.

"We are proud to have been selected as a partner in the ASP and will, through our experience and knowledge, develop leading security solutions for the Automotive Supplier Park," he said.
