The Ademco Video embedded digital multiplex video range, available through Honeywell, provides an integrated approach to digital recorder solutions for all multiple camera CCTV system applications.

Images from the attached cameras are digitised, compressed and recorded to the internal hard disk drive. Advanced image processing and compression techniques allow high-resolution images to be compressed into very small file sizes, requiring less disk space than comparable systems. This means that very large disk drives are not necessary to support long term recording.

Recording is further enhanced by programmable video motion detection, which can adjust the recording pattern to capture more images from cameras where motion is sensed. The Ademco models allow TCP/IP transmission of video via LAN/WAN networks, pager messaging via modem (external modem required) and have single channel audio recording capability.
