Video management and storage system

April 2003 Surveillance

Eagle Technology has begun distributing the new Versalis range of digital CCTV products. The Versalis range offers a networked digital video solution that combines distributed viewing, storage and capture of high quality, high resolution live video, voice and data.

Based on MPEG4 technology, Versalis allows the user to view and record high resolution video and audio. Not only does it use existing IP wiring, but its reliable digital wireless components allow video surveillance even where cabling is unavailable. Versalis also uses standard PC platforms, allowing you to select your preferred computer vendor for better serviceability and IT systems uniformity.

Products in the range are listed in the table.

Versalis nDVR software

The nDVR/nDVR PRO software is at the heart of Versalis' networked video solution. It is based on a distributed client-server architecture offering true convergence of CCTV and the enterprises' local or wide area networks (LANs/WANs). When combined with Ethernet (E-S1500e/E-S1502e) and wireless (E-S1000w) video servers, nDVR offers a highly scalable solution that can integrate up to 48 (nDVR) or up to 64 (nDVR PRO) cameras and audio feeds. The nDVR/nDVR PRO is made up of three user-interface modules viz: Configuration Tool - user friendly configuration interface; Monitor Tool - Intuitive live video monitoring interface; Archive Player - powerful investigation and video playback interface. A demo CD of the Versalis software is available.
