IFSEC International (www.ifsec.co.uk) organiser and info4security.com publisher UBM has made three new appointments for its IFSEC International and Global Security Summit events.
Peter Poole becomes event manager for IFSEC International, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham May 14-17 2012; Kristan Johnstone becomes international event manager for global IFSEC brands and Andy Meyer will head up sales on the new Global Security Summit event.
The appointments aim to provide the UK and international-based products with the leadership, expertise and knowledge to continue delivering high level opportunities for the entire market.
IFSEC International event director Charlie Cracknell said: “Peter Poole, Kristan Johnstone and Andy Meyer have been instrumental in driving the direction of UBM’s Security Portfolio products, and with their combined industry knowledge of 23 years they are well placed to be able to reflect regional market needs and provide the right solutions and focus for these markets.”
