SASA was pleased to donate some office equipment to Embocraft Training Centre Trust. This charity, based in KZN, works to uplift the community through skills development and training, whereby members of the community will then have the skills to become self-sufficient and employable. Community members develop unique craft products as an income generation project and these items are for sale to the general public.
SASA is committed to ensuring private security service providers are compliant and abide by the laws that govern the industry, as well as, to the communities in which these service providers operate. Jenny Reid, president of SASA, says “One cannot only be concerned with ensuring the success of one particular industry, the communities in which our industry operates must also be considered, and it is through the building and uplifting of these communities that we can truly achieve fulfilment”.
