Hikvision is to introduce its latest HD product- the DS-2CD877BF 2MP Full HD 1080p Network Camera - at Secutech 2011, 20 to 22 April in Taipei, Taiwan. This product is invaluable for applications that require high-definition and real-time monitoring, such as transportation, airports and financial institutions, etc.

Following the 2MP Full HD 1080p WDR dome camera being unveiled at ISC West 2011, the DS-2CD877BF 2MP Full HD 1080p Network Camera is yet another significant HD product that Hikvision is launching to broaden its HD portfolio and optimise for customers’ needs to see more detail, have a wider coverage or get clear images in low light conditions etc.

The highlight of the DS-2CD877BF is that it can deliver compressed real-time video stream with resolution of up to 1080p, using the latest H.264 video codec based on a high performance platform. Featuring day and night auto switch, the DS-2CD877BF delivers colour images during the day and automatically switches to night mode to deliver high-quality, black and white images in low light conditions; suitable for outdoor installations or in indoor environments with poor lighting.

The DS-2CD877BF 2MP Network Camera supports up to 32 GB SD/SDHC cards local storage for uninterrupted recording even during Internet failure, effectively preventing video data loss.
