SAIS trip to IFSEC, UK

SAIS is once again organising a group booking to IFSEC 2011 which is being held in Birmingham, UK from 16 to 19 May 2011. SAIS has managed to keep the pricing the same as 2009’s price, but with the added benefit that it also includes basic travel insurance.

The tour departs on Virgin Airlines from OR Tambo Airport on Saturday 14 May 2011 and returns from Heathrow Airport Friday 20 May. A luxury bus will transport delegates to the Premier Travel Inn (canal side) where bed and breakfast accommodation is provided.

On 20 May, the return luxury coach will transport delegates back to Heathrow Airport and they may choose to leave their luggage at the airport and spend the afternoon in London before checking in that evening. Arrangements can be made through Rosemary for a special trip around London – with surprises in store.

Single tour tickets cost R20 000 and a non-refundable deposit of R3500 needs to be made at the time of booking. For those sharing a room, a fee of R18 500 applies.

The above price includes airport taxes as at August 2010. Should these increase substantially, there may be an additional levy, but this is only in exceptional circumstances.

The costs include:

1. Return economy class airfare from Johannesburg

2. Five nights accommodation (single or double)

3. Room taxes

4. Basic travel insurance

5. Full ‘as much as you can eat’ breakfast

6. Return private transfers to and from London Heathrow

7. Entry into the exhibition itself with prior registration (Rosemary will do the registrations for you – a saving of £25)

8. IFSEC catalogue (normal price: £20).

The costs exclude:

1. Meals other than breakfast

2. Items of a personal nature

3. Conferences at the exhibition – these must be booked and paid for separately

4. Additional airfares or accommodation for any extension of trip

5. London excursions.
