Spoornet invites suppliers to participate in a request for information on railway vehicle tracking system

Spoornet has developed a conceptual design for a system to track and trace its railway vehicles and has embarked on the development of detailed requirements of this system. In order to develop the requirements within the capability of the available technologies and to plan the project phases, Spoornet requires information on available technologies and system configurations. Based upon the information and after completion of the specifications, Spoornet will publish a tender to install a successful system on its fleet.

Interested parties can obtain documentation, which includes a request for information from the listed contact persons. A briefing session will be held on 16 September 2005. Please register as an interested party with Mr Navin Bachu to make sure that you receive all communication in this regard.
