Specialised Control Technologies' warehouse in City Deep has been broken into and a large quantity of Chiper cameras and other Chiper related equipment has been stolen. The total replacement value is in excess of two hundred thousand Rands (R200,000.00).

The cameras are all 12-volts DC. The model numbers are:

* CPT-8937P black & white dome camera;

* CPT-8067P colour dome camera;

* CPT-8066P hi-res colour dome camera;

* CPT-BK22P black & white pipe camera;

* CPT-8950P black & white camera;

* CPT-8260P hi-sens, hi-res black & white camera;

* CPT-CD22P colour pipe camera;

* CPT-8055P hi-res, hi-sens colour camera;

* CPT-8055P colour camera;

* CPT-9020 time, date generator.
