Smart integration for complete home security

IDS has brought 30 years of experience to bear in designing its latest range of security products, bringing together the IDS X-series control panels, X-wave2 wireless technology, Optex’s sensing systems and the HYYP Smart Home and Control Room System, all in one platform.

Homeowners and installers no longer need to shop for multiple partners to deliver turn-key intrusion solutions but can now combine best-of-breed security solutions into one centralised system. The X-series panels offer a range from 8-64 zones with eight separate partitions, four sleep profiles per partition, auto arming and disarming functionality, simple intuitive one-button control via keypad and a selection of bespoke complementary bus devices for enhanced protection.

The X-wave 2 integration with Optex detectors ensures access to the latest 869 MHz wireless technology, enhancing detectors’ battery life and offering full bi-directional communications for event validation and acknowledgement. The installation experience is enhanced by simple programming, walk-test mode control via the keypad and an integrated wireless module that manages panic response, arming/disarming and wireless receipt all in one system.

Homeowners and installers will enjoy the control, piece-of-mind and convenience of guaranteed signal transmission through unique clear-channel assessment technology while having access to LED drive bi-directional remotes and a selection of wireless input/output devices for basic home automation and switching via keypad, panel or application.

The above, complimented with the HYYP SMART platform delivers enhanced security of control room signals from the home to armed and emergency responders, using the latest GPRS technology. Included in all HYYP smart installations is the consumer HYYP app that allows unlimited control of your security system. Functionality includes arming and disarming by sleep profile and partitions, bypassing of zones, mobile panic system management (to the home), triggering of configured automation devices, homeowner defined zone and area-naming and access levels.

SMART homes and bespoke security solutions are the future of the South African security industry, and IDS is leading in providing access to security solutions that offer the optimum user experience without compromising the integrity of alarm signals, systems and transmissions.
