1 May 2015 Conferences & Events

Suprema will once again host a wide range of products on its stand at Securex. These include:

• BioStar 2: Designed for simplicity, convenience and performance, its Cloud based architecture offers a Web interface utilising the latest standards, reducing deployment time and can be used from workstations or mobile devices. The modular architecture of the platform offers endless expandability to meet all your complex and unique access control solution requirements. BioStar 2 includes a dashboard and monitoring features for a quick overview of all major access control events. The dashboard highlights major access control indicators like event logs, system information, notices and alarms.

• Xpass S2: An IP access control multi-smartcard reader and controller. Compared to its predecessor Xpass Slim, Xpass S2 is enhanced in RF performance – now supporting the reading of more card standards including MiFare, DESFire, ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693 and FeliCa, and NFC. It also reads and writes data on the card. In addition to its IP65 rated ingress protection, Xpass S2 is now equipped with a built-in adaptive heater for operation in even harsher environments at a wider operational temperate range of -35°C to 65°C. It also supports an expanded capacity of up to 50 000 user-badges and 100 000 event-logs for enterprise level organisations plus small and medium sized businesses.

• BioStation 2: BioStation 2 combines a new powerful processor with Suprema’s next generation optical sensor to provide unrivalled performance. BioStation 2 provides users with instantaneous authentication as well as rapid data transfer to manage large user and log data with ease. It is ideal for applications that require versatility without compromise in style and performance.

• BioMini Android SDK: The BioMini Android Software Development Kit enables custom identity solution development for Android phones and tablets. This development is in line with the extensive market growth of Android devices and enables identity and custom solution providers the ability to extend their offering to these market dominating mobile operating system platforms.

• Supreme ProSync real-time workforce management: The ProSync Biometric engine is designed to effectively add biometrics to workforce management platforms. ProSync seamlessly manages the biometric data distribution and real-time attendance information to enable seamless operational management. It offers fingerprint enabled personnel deployment management for static and mobile sites, operates over fixed or mobile networks and eliminates redundant processes such as cell phone check-in and manual registers, which are prone to fraud and reliant on expensive supervision. It also extends onto iOS and Android mobile platforms, through its pocketOps applications, keeping managers up-to-date with operational issues that need immediate attention.

• pocketOps mobile for Supreme ProSync: pocketOps is the iOS and Android smart mobile extension of the ProSync Workforce Management integration engine. This mobile application enables managers to control Suprema devices from their mobile device, view statistics and graphs, manage alarms and interact with the control room – keeping managers up-to-date wherever they are. The latest enhancements include GPS functionality with features such as GPSign-in, Photo evidence/collaboration and GPStaff-track. pocketOps is fully integrated with EasyRoster.

• BioStar iPoS: iPoS, a locally developed point of sale system for Suprema AC and T&A management suit is designed to use identity data stored on BioStar to manage internal sales and supports any combination of card and/or fingerprint authentication. Typical applications include cafeteria sales and issuing of stationary and other consumables.

Corporates can now offer their staff managed perks, such as free or subsidised lunch.

Issuing of internal stock such as stationary also assists with managing stock levels of stationary and identifying who the person is that depletes all the office pen stock.

• GreenBox: Integrated with Suprema, GreenBox fulfils the need for a multifunction device that scans physical documents, identity documents, passports and driver’s licences. It scans fingerprints, captures digital signatures and ID photographs.

Featuring the S20 500dpi slim optical sensor with FBI-PIV and mobile ID FAP20 certification. The large platen size ensures easy capturing and includes live finger detection. It also supports capturing in harsh environments and direct sunlight up to 100 000 Lux. Greenbox functionality includes biometric verification which can be used as required by various acts such as FICA and RICA and financial market KYC requirements.

• i-Trust i-Sign: Trust i-Sign is geared to evolve into a biometric suite to capture and securely manage biometric identities in all aspects of life. i-Trust allows you to sign onto Windows using Suprema hardware. Fully integrated into the current Microsoft Windows Security Accounts Management, i-Trust allows you to easily make use of biometric authentication with Suprema hardware for Microsoft Windows. Built-in account network distribution allows administrators to transfer accounts from machine to machine centrally within their Enterprise making logical access control and administration that much easier.

• Suprema Integrated Access Solutions: Visit Suprema’s stand to experience an assortment of new value-added integrations including the new Impro Portal, Saflec Access Control system, Paxton Access, IndigoVision, Avigilon, BioConnect and Milestone VMS. Feel free to book a personal demonstration.
