H.264 from Cathexis

June 2008 Products & Solutions

Cathexis will be launching its H.264 realtime video cards and IP encoders at Securex. The cards incorporate the latest video compression technology and can be used in the Cathexis hybrid DVR/NVR systems.

In keeping with Cathexis' 'backward compatibility' strategy, the H.264 video card can be used in existing systems that are deployed in the field, thereby providing a cost-effective upgrade path for existing installations. The hybrid nature of the Cathexis offering allows the addition of IP encoders and/or cameras to existing field equipment.

Cathexis will be in hall 2, stand D15-16.
