Aritech launches new conventional detector range

December 2002 Fire & Safety

Following the acquisition of Kilsen, a privately-held fire detection and control systems company headquartered in Barcelona, Spain by GE Industrial Systems earlier in the year, Aritech has introduced a new conventional detector range to the market. The 300 series of conventional detectors is the second Kilsen product range to be made available through the Aritech organisation, the first being the FP500 range of conventional fire panels.

The 300 series conventional fire detectors are suitable for almost every conventional installation. Built for use with the FP500, FP600 and FP700 series of microprocessor-controlled conventional fire panels, they can also be connected to most third-party industry standard conventional control panels.

The detectors have been designed and developed with advanced technology to offer reliable detection in every risk situation. Detection hardware has been specifically designed to cope with difficult and extreme situations

The 300 Series comprises a vast range of detectors: ionisation, optical and heat detectors. The heat detector is a combined thermo-maximum and rate-of-rise type detector. Optical detectors boast a special replaceable optical detector chamber for easy maintenance. Furthermore, the universal base suits every application and compensates for uneven surfaces. All bases are provided with an integral locking mechanism for extra security reasons if required.
