Hitachi CCTV available from Raicom

October 2002 Surveillance

Raicom, importers and distributors of CCTV and intercom systems, recently added the Hitachi range of CCTV equipment to its range of products.

Hitachi, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is one of the world's most diversified global electronics companies. The company manufactures and markets a wide range of products, including computers, semiconductors, consumer products and power and industrial equipment. Hitachi has 1069 subsidiaries, including 335 overseas corporations. The company's cameras and controllers are among some of the products that Raicom will have available.

Furthermore, Hitachi's VK-S454E chassis camera will be incorporated with Raicom's future range of dome housings. This will result in the production of its very own high-performance speed dome cameras using Hitachi's latest technology.

Feature products

The range available from Raicom includes:

* VK-C317E: The VK-C317E is a digital signal processing CCTV colour camera with X2.5 varifocal lens, and its compact design allows for easy integration into a wide range of surveillance systems. A built-in F1.2 varifocal lens allows one to adjust the focal length of a precise setting, ranging from wide to telephoto. Advanced DSP technology provides intelligent control to ensure clear and detailed pictures. Moreover, the on-screen display makes it easy to control the camera's functions and the nonpolarity 4-pin power terminal makes it easy to install.

The digital slow shutter and removable IR cut filter function make the camera particularly suitable for monitoring sites at night or dark locations.
