Solution for prepaid telephone systems

Following Telkom's upgrade to electronic exchanges and the return of alarm technicians to normal work instead of changing telephone numbers on alarm control panels, along came the prepaid system which required alarm control panels to dial * or # and the 10-digit phone number. These new systems have placed a huge demand on alarm control panels and in order for these panels to maintain communication to central monitoring stations, they may be required to dial out * or # and up to 20 digits.

With the NetworX range of control panels from Caddx, there is no need for concern as all three telephone number programming locations have sufficient segments to accommodate this, which includes being able to dial a * or # when needed.
