Gat Vol Matlock security system gives big insurance discounts

November '99 Asset Management

Owners of vehicles fitted with the unique Gat Vol Matlock security system can benefit from insurance premium discounts of up to 11% - more than double the normal discount for recognised vehicle immobilisation systems.

According to Phil Starling of Full Stop SA, marketers of Gat Vol products, "The effectiveness of the Gat Vol Matlock system has been recognised by the insurance industry and we have reached an agreement with Regent Insurance that owners of vehicles fitted with the VESA-approved Gat Vol Matlock system can benefit from a discount of up to 11% on their insurance premiums, through Regent Insurance.

"The insurance industry normally offers a discount of 5% for similar systems - such as VESA-approved gear locks - but the ultimate protection provided by Gat Vol Matlock has convinced them that the risk of vehicle theft is even further reduced and warrants a bigger reduction in insurance premiums."

Regent Insurance is a member of the Imperial Holdings Group.
