Gigabit 12-port unmanaged PoE switches

September 2015 Infrastructure, Products & Solutions

Antaira’s new LNP-1202G-SFP and LNP-1204G-SFP industrial PoE+ Gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switches offer the highest density of Gigabit Ethernet port connectivity in the market. The combination of SFP fibre and RJ45 copper with high Gigabit port count connectivity have been designed to help fulfil special needs for security, transportation and solar and wind power industries. These switches are ideal for any outdoor application with an extreme ambient weather environment.

Both the LNP-1202G-SFP and LNP-1204G-SFP are 12-port industrial grade unmanaged Ethernet switches with high power PoE+ capabilities that are IEEE 802.3at/af compliant. The units require a high voltage power input of 48~55 VDC to support up to 30 watts of PoE power output per port. The LNP-1202G-SFP series supports 10*10/100/1000Tx (w/8*PSE: 30 W/Port) RJ45 ports, and 2*100/1000 SFP slots; whereas, the LNP-1204G-SFP series supports 8*10/100/1000Tx (w/8*PSE: 30 W/port) RJ45 ports, and 4*100/1000 SFP slots.

The PoE ports use self-adjusting power to ensure that excess power is not supplied to end devices, thus preventing damage. The SFP fibre ports are able to support any type of fibre connection; multi-mode or single-mode for short or long haul applications. These SFP ports can also support dual rate speeds, meaning either 100Fx or 1000Fx fibre connections.

These new PoE+ switch models provide high EFT, surge (2 000 VDC), and ESD (6000 VDC) protection. The devices also have a dual power input design with reverse polarity protection. Additionally, there is a built-in relay warning function to alert maintainers when power failures occur. The LNP-1202G-SFP and LNP-1204G-SFP are ideal for applications that require high bandwidth or PoE support, reliability within harsh environments or long distance network communication connectivity.

The LNP-1202G-SFP and LNP-1204G-SFP series are backed by a five-year warranty with an IP30 rated, compact, fanless, DIN-Rail and wall mountable design. Each product is built to withstand industrial networking hazards like shock, drop, vibration, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and temperature extremes.
