Dual and quad active IR beam

SCW provides a range of dual and quad active infrared beams for indoor and outdoor protection. These beams are easy to install and flexible. They contain a high power source to provide a better detection range and minimum signal loss. False alarms are reduced as simultaneous interruption of beams is required for alarm condition to occur. Dual and quad infrared beams can be used in range of security applications, mounted on walls, poles or in columns. Some features include:

* Bifocal lenses and high power transmitter diodes provide exceptional performance and increases false alarm immunity.

* Automatic gain control compensates for environmental conditions.

* Digital filter analyses and filters environmental noise and improves false alarm immunity.

* Optical alignment and 180° simultaneous beam adjustment enables easy installation.

* The columns provide an ideal and invisible barrier making them suitable for outdoor perimeter protection, without compromising the aesthetics of the site to be protected.

* The use of aluminium extrusion gives a high mechanical resistance, whereas the ‘window’ part (either in perspex or in polycarbonate) is robust and insensitive to sunlight.

* Designed and built to withstand the worst weather conditions (with built-in fog disable circuit and optional heaters) making them suitable for outdoor perimeter installations.

* The special window allows the installation of several IR beams The beams can be mounted at different heights and angles to give cost effective protection.
