ESDA roadshow hits Polokwane

The latest ESDA roadshow took place in Polokwane last month and saw a number of companies exhibiting to the local audience.

* Powell Tronics presented its range of biometric, card and software applications.

* FSK Electronics was displaying its range of short-range and long-range radio transmitters as well as its SMS and GPRS, GSM units.

* Sensor Security exhibited HD cameras from Vivotek and network recording solutions from QNAP.

* Gunnebo South Africa had its range of safes, vaults, strongroom doors and bullet-resistant range of windows and doors on show.

* RDC provided a glimpse of its long-range VHF transmitters, base stations and repeater equipment, as well as its GPRS based alarm communication systems.

* MAMI (Manufacturing and Minor Inventions) hosted a range of short- and long-range remote controls as well as alarm transmitters and control room equipment.

* Centurion featured, among other products, its D2 Turbo domestic sliding gate operator, TRAPEX barrier fence, G-Switch-22 GSM module and SECTOR high-volume traffic barrier.

* Space TV showcased some of its latest products, including both embedded and PC-based DVRs and a camera selection.

* Nemtek exhibited its full range of electric fencing products, including Agri PET and Druid 18 LCD Energizers, Poly Wire, Poly Rope, Poly Tape, solar panels and regulators.

* Comb Communication’s MK II GSM intercom with its Web-based management system also made an appearance, along with a new generation of cameras.

* Elvey Security Technologies had a display consisting of CCTV, access control and intrusion equipment.

* Secequip displayed its new Crow bi-directional wireless technology and range of Texecom and Crow outdoor protection, Pyronix infrared technology and the SupaGate, IXP20, IXP220 and new Nitgen biometric range from Impro.
