In partnership with Radwin, Miro Distribution is announcing the release of the GoNetworks product range. This line of products is aimed specifically at the last mile solution and allows wireless clients to connect to the network from greater distances compared to standard Wi-Fi equipment, and (within certain distances) without the need for larger CPE equipment. This means that you can cover larger areas in wireless signal, with less broadcasting equipment as well as less client side wireless devices.
The GoNetworks products make use of beamforming technology which allows for more signal to be concentrated onto each wireless client by pulsing the wireless signal. Instead of providing a standard Omni directional (360°) signal, the beamforming technology allows the wireless signal to be aimed in a certain direction, and this direction can be changed a few times every millisecond! This ensures that each wireless client gets the maximum signal, even if the client is just using a standard wireless laptop to connect to the network.
The GoNetworks products also have a built-in mesh topology, meaning that they can link together while still providing coverage to wireless clients, again saving you the need for extra equipment.
