Why did Centurion cross the road?

August 2009 News

In a move to give itself more space and improve its sales office, Centurion Systems has relocated to new premises. The new location is literally across the road from the premises it outgrew, making sure the company has enough space to run and expand its manufacturing operations.

The new sales and support offices are more user friendly and spacious, while the manufacturing segment of the company now finds itself in the middle of a large factory floor. Centurion has also provided more space for its testing staff to run its products through countless iterations to ensure its products run effectively for the long term and are not unnecessarily hampered by constant usage.

The company’s electronics assembly sections are still isolated from the factory floor to ensure the circuit boards it builds are reliable, free from fault and specifically suited to the needs of the South African market.

To introduce its new premises to clients and partners, Centurion held an open day in July in which visitors were taken on a tour of its new facilities and could view the slick manufacturing process for its D5 and D10 motors as well as some of the finer components the company manufactures to an accuracy of within a fraction of a millimetre.
