Cardax FT DVR Interface functionality was released with the latest release of Cardax FT Command Centre, Version 4, at the end of last year. Cardax FT DVR Interface provides the ability to connect to third-party DVR (or NVR) systems and provides for an integrated colour DVR and alarms management solution for central alarm monitoring.

Cardax FT Command Centre provides integration of the key operations for viewing, triggering and storing video with Cardax FT DVR Interface. The ability to audit information retained in the Cardax FT system, complemented with images from either CCTV or DVR systems, provides a visual and auditable record of system events, which can be relied upon to provide evidence if needed.

With Cardax FT DVR Interface, a Cardax FT system can work with multiple DVR systems of different types (from different vendors) simultaneously. An integrated DVR solution links visual records (video) to Cardax FT events. Recalling a Cardax FT event allows associated DVR video to be immediately retrieved, significant validation for telling the story of the event.

With realtime data collection stored in Cardax FT, historically recorded video can be easily searched, using the Find Tool functionality. One of the largest Cardax customers has hugely benefited from integrating its access control with imaging - proven results of detecting and reducing pilferage through viewing image sequences linked to people exiting their facilities.

Cardax FT Challenge is another example of utilising records in Cardax FT with live images. This functionality provides the ability to double-check the visual identity of cardholders passing through a nominated door using visual comparison of a stored cardholder image against a live image from a third party system.
