The HD4D3X and HD4D9X true day/night (TDN) vandal resistant fixed dome cameras have a fully integrated enclosure with camera and lens that perform in both indoor and outdoor environments. The range now consists of two models that cover a wide range of viewing angles:
* HD4D3X – this is the original HD4DX. It has the 3,3-12 mm vari-focal auto iris lens, but with a new part number to differentiate it from the new HD4D9X.
* HD4D9X – this is the new addition with a 9-22 mm vari-focal auto iris lens.
Why was HD4D9X developed?
* To expand the popular HD4DX Series due to customer demand for longer field of view:
- HD4DUX
- HD4DIRX
- HD4DIPX
- HD4D3X (previously HD4DX)
- HD4D9X
What problems do these new models solve?
* Need for longer field of view
- Provides ability to zoom in and provide precise, detailed images from a greater distance.
* Need for better low light video verification/reduced storage
- As a result of the incorporated DNR technology, degradation of image quality under low light conditions has been reduced. This results in better video performance, lower noise in the pictures and increased storage capacity on the DVRs.
