HeiTel is expanding its range of digital recorders with the new CamDisc HNVR. This hybrid network recorder enables the combined mixed operation of up to 10 analogue and IP cameras on one device. The HeiTel HNVR supports various IP camera models such as Acti, Axis, Arecont, Basler, Bosch, Dynacolor, Eneo, Hunt, Ipsotek, IQinVision, JVC, Mobotix, Panasonic, Samsung Electronics, Santec, Sony, Toshiba, Visicom.
Based on the specification of the reliable CamDisc SVR, the new system offers considerably higher performance for processing large video data streams from IP cameras. As with all other models within the HeiTel range of products, the CamDisc HNVR is fully compatible with all existing HeiTel hardware and software. This means that IP or megapixel cameras (available models are continuously updated, please visit www.heitel.com) can now be connected to local or remote video monitoring where the HeiTel software is managing the front end.
The CamDisc HNVR is a network recorder for IP cameras with standard and megapixel resolutions. Should the need arise for an analogue camera to be processed as well, a maximum of two HYBRID Card 4 cards (each with four analogue inputs and up to two cards per device) can be added. With the HYBRID Card 4’ HeiTel is opting for a modular and therefore cost-optimised hardware design. Recordings are made onto an integrated removable hard disk. Key IP camera functions (including PTZ control functions) can be controlled over the network via the HeiTel standard system interface.
