Suprema BioMini Slim 3

Issue 2 2020 Information Security

Replace passwords by integrating fingerprint biometrics into your solution with BioMini Slim 3 and its easy-to-use SDK that is compatible with Android, Windows and Linux.

Slim 3 is FBI PIV (Personal Identity Verification) and Mobile ID FAP30 certified and features live finger detection (LFD) technology, making it ideal for applications that require more stringent security such as those that link to the department of home affairs’ national identification system as well as the criminal clearance database.

It features a 15 mm ultra-slim FAP30 optical sensor with a wide platen for easier fingerprint capturing, multi-dynamic range (MDR) technology for operation even under direct sunlight, and an IP65-rated dust and waterproof structure which ensures robust operation for outdoor and mobile environments.

neaMetrics provides local SA software engineering support which gives its clients the ability to fast-track development and to shorten the time to market. The company offers its knowledge in biometric implementations to solution providers, taking solutions from concept to implementation in the shortest possible time while adhering to best practices.
