4 MP IR bullet

1 October 2016 Residential Estate (Industry), Products & Solutions

Sunell has released its latest 4 MP IR bullet network camera, the SN-IPR56/40APDN which is ONVIF compliant. Key features of this market leader include a 1/3-inch Progressive Scan CMOS and an infrared range of 20 to 25 metres, as well as Wide Dynamic Range (dWDR). The device also offers excellent low-light performance, requiring 0.05 Lux for colour images.

To assist in the effective recording and monitoring of the video streams from the camera, Sunell offers a triple-streaming option in order to ensure the images are viewed and stored most effectively. The main stream is capable of transmissions from 500 Kb to 12 000 Kb, while sub-streams range from 100 Kb to 6 000 Kb.

Multiple video analytics functions are available on the camera, including motion detection, line crossing, tamper, area intrusion, network disconnect, disk alarm and I/O alarm. The analytics are supported by additional image support in the form of corridor mode and a defog function.

The IP66-rated camera’s operation is not affected by network downtime, as it has a Micro SD (SDHC or SDXC) slot which can hold a maximum of 64 GB of video. The bullet camera can be powered by a 12 V power supply or via PoE, reducing the cabling required in setting up the SN-IPR56/40APDN.
