Visitor access management

PT-Guest is an integrated visitor access management solution that allows estate security to electronically capture visitor and contractor information and, based on their destination, automatically grant them the necessary access. It also gives residents responsibility for their guests and day-to-day contractors by pre-authorising their access.

The PT-Guest scanner allows for fast processing of unexpected visitors by scanning their driver’s licences, IDs and vehicle discs. Security is bolstered by granting access based on a visitor’s destination and by allowing only a single entry and exit through the estate’s perimeter. Visitor tags expire and are deleted automatically, and residents are automatically notified of their visitors’ arrival and departure.

Available in three options – pin code, proximity tag or biometric access – the system digitally captures and securely stores all visitor, vehicle, passenger details and destination data in a POPI-compliant database. This data can reliably be used to draw accurate statistical information, and the electronic capture of information acts as a deterrent for persons with malicious intent.
