AXIS Q19 thermal network cameras are a perfect tool for perimeter protection, offering high-performing video analytics.

The cameras use thermal imaging, which allows users to detect people, objects and incidents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from pitch dark areas to a sunlit parking lot. This makes it possible to acknowledge suspicious activity already before intrusion, and to visually verify what is going on before taking relevant action.

Axis Communications’ perimeter protection solutions are based on thermal cameras with built-in video analytics software. They can ‘see’ in complete darkness and provide automatic alerts when a person enters a pre-defined area within the camera’s field of view.

The solution can easily be integrated with other IP cameras, floodlights, loudspeakers and existing security systems for optimal performance.
