Thermal IP cameras

1 March 2016 Residential Estate (Industry), Products & Solutions

In situations where the human eye can’t see anything, Bosch VOT thermal outdoor IP cameras provide early detection and display irregularities over large areas. They offer sight in complete darkness and are unaffected by bad weather conditions, dense smoke, heavy fog or snow.

The thermal camera detects any body or object that radiates heat and delivers immediate visualisation using its built-in Bosch IVA (Intelligent Video Analysis) with motion detection and video content analysis. A 320 x 240 VOx (vanadium oxide) thermal sensor with dedicated image processing delivers outstanding image quality, making it easier to identify objects or suspicious activities.

Simultaneous tri-stream video capability provides two H.264 compression streams and one JPEG stream. The camera also supports multicasting, Internet streaming and iSCSI recording. An SD card slot provides local storage and increases the overall reliability of the system in the event of network failure.

A choice of four lenses covers both narrow and wide fields of view, and is available with a frame rate of either 8,33 or 30 Hz. The Bosch fixed thermal outdoor IP camera conforms to the ONVIF specification which guarantees interoperability with third-party systems.
