Uniview LPR camera

Uniview has released a new LPR (licence plate recognition) camera in South Africa with high capture and recognition rates. The camera’s intelligent algorithm supports 10x optical zoom, which is useful for capturing clear details. The LPR camera additionally supports highlight compensation, or HLC, so that licence plates can be seen clearly at night, and to ensure the interference of glare from car headlights is reduced.

Since the algorithm is embedded in the LPR camera, the camera can recognise the licence plates directly. It can also be paired with the UNV network video recorder for ease of management. With the NVR, you can create a black/white list and create alarm-triggered actions based on your list. The UNV NVR supports four LPR cameras.
