Fully integrated with the SALTO System’s Space and SALTO KS platforms, the new Geo range of electronic cylinders are compact in size, making them a suitable solution for almost any type of door.
All the models in the range offer virtual network capability through SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) technology or can be used wirelessly online for real-time data. A choice of ID carriers is also provided, including NFC, iButton, Mifare, DESFire, Mifare Ultralight C, HID iClass, Inside Picopass and SKIDATA.
Whatever a client’s access control needs, SALTO electronic cylinders provide a modern solution that will complement any type of door in any environment. It is also of interest for existing projects where key management is a problem, and can be installed in under 10 minutes to replace an existing lock that is driven by a mechanical key. Example applications include cylinder locks, padlocks, server cabinets, locker locks, night latches and deadbolts, to mention a few.
The Geo range provides traceability on who entered, when and where. It can be configured with time patterns and all events are recorded. By default the cylinders are IP55 rated but can be upgraded to IP66 or SKG and VDS certification for high-security projects. The cylinders can give up to 60 000 openings on a single set of batteries, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) capability is available in the form of the new Neo cylinder range.
