First impressions matter

With the aim of making office reception areas more welcoming, Proxyclick has developed an effective way of trading a paper logbook for a smart visitor management system, by incorporating notions of security, health and safety, brand promotion, customer communication and privacy.

The technology allows companies to create a welcoming reception area that stands out by allowing visitors to sign themselves in, while focusing on giving them a warm, personal greeting. Contemporary badges can be made to create a safe and welcoming environment, by connecting a printer and easily printing any type of badge in real-time.

Proxyclick can send visitors and hosts a text or email reminder before their visit, at check-in and check-out, and all required information is accessible to employees. The visitor’s name is displayed on the screen as they check in, and the system is available in more than 18 languages and with multi-location support. The health and safety feature informs visitors of the establishment’s health and safety rules, to help keep employees and visitors safe.

Data safety is ensured by means of a daily backup procedure, across multiple servers, so the company can have access to it even if the hardware is faulty. Said data can be collected and analysed in order to spot trends, produce reports and use surveys to gather feedback from visitors.
