Magtouch Electronics joins ESDA

June 2019 Associations, News & Events

Magtouch Electronics, a manufacturer of high-tech monitoring systems for the security and cleaning industries, has joined ESDA, the Electronic Security Distributors’ Association. The company’s products are manufactured and fully supported in South Africa.

Its development team has been designing and developing personnel monitoring equipment for recording, storing and reporting patrol data for over 20 years. These products are continuously being upgraded using the latest technology to ensure that they are easy to use, yet reliable and cost-effective. They are built to endure the harsh African conditions.

Products are fully supported in South Africa with a 24-hour turnaround time from the company’s workshop or partners for most repairs. Its systems work in explosive environments such as mines or fuel pumping stations. The baton has been certified to not ignite even the highest flammable liquids and gases, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations for use in hazardous locations.

Marc d’Hotman has been an integral part of the development team for many years using his experience in the security industry and his qualifications in electronics to make a product that is both reliable, low maintenance and cost-effective.
