Given South Africa's scarcity of skilled personnel within the technical, engineering and security sector, Hi-Tech Security Solutions launched Tech Jobs Network (www.techjobsnetwork.co.za), a network dedicated to making it easier for companies to recruit new talent and for job seekers to browse available opportunities.
In the first few months since the launch of Tech Jobs Network, the site has proven that this is a much needed resource for the industry as well as for individuals looking for new opportunities. The strength of the site is that it benefits from the same focus and experience that has built Hi-Tech Security Solutions into the de facto market leader in the sectors in which it operates.
The Tech Jobs service is free to job seekers, giving them a convenient way to view advertised positions that meet their criteria and provides contact details of the recruiting party.
Initial job vacancies were quickly filled. In September, one head of security in the retail market advertised a technical job and received 61 qualified CVs. A system integrator reported that he received an “excellent response” to the technical position he advertised, with relevant and qualified people enquiring about the position.
