Security Warehouse Training Academy has a number of upcoming courses on offer, both for the surveillance and access control markets in June and July.


• Introduction to CCTV

Date: 11 – 13 July 2018

This is an introductory course, covering direct current, alternating current, semi-conductors; CCTV terminology, methodology, how to do a professional quote; tool uses, cameras set-up, check list, basic fault-finding, doing CCTV quotes; and installations tips, law regarding installations, pricing and sales techniques.

Cost: R3300


• Mastering CCTV

Date: 5 – 8 June 2018

This is a more advanced course and will cover areas such as terminology, design, configuration, light importance and lens selection, as well as high-speed domes, video processing equipment and digital video recorders. Communications and recording options will also be covered in this 4-day course.

Cost: R4400


• Gate and Garage

Date: 7 July 2018

The course includes an introduction to the topic, terminology and installation theory, as well as programming and functions. Students will also gain practical experience in fault-finding and connecting equipment.

Cost: R1100
