Wireless access roadshow

April 2018 News & Events

SALTO Systems is taking its access control solutions to various regions across South Africa this year to give more people the opportunity to see why wireless access control is the future. Apart from focusing on its range of solutions, SALTO will also use the roadshows to launch its new residential lock solution, DanaLock.

SALTO’s Wouter du Toit says the first day of the roadshows will take the format of a trade show where people can come in and see, touch and experience the products first hand. The second day will be devoted to providing free training sessions on SALTO’s hardware, software and topology.

Apart from DanaLock, the roadshows will also focus on mobile technology and how it has become part of our daily lives, and how mobile can assist clients in managing their access control systems. Hospitality mobile solutions will also be highlighted and the company will explain why the market is calling for solutions on smartphones.

Enterprise customers will not be forgotten as SALTO will also showcase its enterprise software that integrates with fire, alarm, CCTV, BMS, databases, visitor management, access control and other third-party readers. In addition, the company will also look at its cloud-based systems for clients on the go, or for retail offices with multiple locations and where the end-user does not want to deploy a server or PC in-house to manage everything.

Moreover, SALTO’s newest product for residential and SME locations, DanaLock, works with a mobile phone’s Bluetooth connection. It is a high-security motorised lock that will work with European and deadbolt cylinders. There is also a controller version that can control any output, e.g. gates, electronic strikes, etc. It is easy to use and assign access to authorised people from your phone or browser in the cloud.

The roadshows are scheduled or the following locations:

• Johannesburg, Southern Sun Montecasino, Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 April, Firenze Conference Centre.

• Bloemfontein, Protea Hotel Bloemfontein, Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 May, Brandwag.

• Cape Town, The River Club, Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 May.

• Durban, Royal Durban Golf Club, Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 June.

• Port Elizabeth, The Beach Hotel, exhibition on 20 June.
