SASA Western Cape Annual Charity Golf Day

1 November 2017 News & Events

The annual Security Association of South Africa (Western Cape) Charity Golf Day remains a prestigious event. The 11th annual golf day will be held at Durbanville Golf Course on the 12th of March 2018 in aid of SASA charities. Last year’s event saw the association raise in excess of R20 000 for charity. The cost of a four ball has been kept the same as in 2017, so book now.

Tee-off times start at 11:30 and the competition will be a 4-ball Better Ball Alliance, with two scores to count on all holes. The SAGA handicapping system will apply, and players without an official handicap will play to a maximum of 18 for men and 24 for ladies.

The cost per entry is R3000 per four ball, which includes green fees, halfway house and a light meal after the game. Companies entering more than one four ball will be entitled to a discount on the costs. A cash bar will be available for the players’ own accounts.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Companies can sponsor a green and tee for R1100, or one of the special holes at R1100 (nearest to the pin, longest drive, short hole) or one of the medium holes at R550. The association is also looking for companies to sponsor prizes, donations, the halfway house or any other sponsorship.

By sponsoring prizes to the value of R1000 you will be entitled to run a wet hole, including your company branding at no cost (excludes cost of supplying drinks and snacks for the players).
