Centurion Systems to host first ever Access Automation Expo

1 September 2017 News & Events

On the 21st of September 2017, access automation manufacturer Centurion Systems will be hosting an Access Automation Expo – the first event of its kind in South Africa – which will bring together industry professionals from all areas of the access automation universe, including security and access control.

Featuring exhibits by nine major security distributors from across the Gauteng province, Access Automation Expo 2017 aims to provide the ultimate networking opportunity between installers, resellers and manufacturers. Additionally, attendees will be treated to a day of thrilling entertainment, including heart-stopping stunts by FMX legend and Red Bull X-Fighter Nick de Witt.

Last year, Centurion Systems was acquired by FAAC, S.p.A, the world’s biggest access automation brand with branches worldwide and its headquarters in Bologna, Italy. The transaction has enabled both companies to diversify and expand their product offerings, and Centurion has indicated that a number of FAAC solutions will be on display at the Expo. Visitors will be able to experience the company’s traffic bollards in a virtual reality environment thanks to a state-of-the-art experience centre, which has been specially shipped from Italy for the event.

“This is the event that the security industry has been waiting for,” says Centurion Systems’ marketing manager, Mark O’Brien. “We’ve put a lot of planning and organisation into this, and we are confident that, with the support of the distributors earmarked for the event, Access Automation Expo 2017 will be a resounding success”.

A further drawcard are the prizes and giveaways that will be taking place throughout the day and which, according to O’Brien, will total over R50 000 in value.

Access Automation Expo 2017 will be hosted at the Galleria in Sandton. Those interested in attending the event may register for free by visiting www.centsys.co.za/expo17-register
