ESDA supports its members

August 2017 News & Events, Associations

Among the various events planned for the second half of 2017, the Electronic Security Distributors’ Association (ESDA) Golf Day has become a well-known annual event in the security industry as it provides members an opportunity to invite clients, suppliers and staff for a fun day of sport, networking and celebration.

This year’s event will be held on 6 September at Glendower Golf Course. The cost for 4-ball, which includes dinner at the evening prize-giving function, is R3500 excl VAT. All proceeds will go to this year’s charity, Soweto Animal Rescue.

ESDA at Securex East Africa

To assist members in extending their reach into East Africa, ESDA has announced a number of benefits for members attending Securex East Africa. Securex will set up a dedicated ESDA Garden area where members can build their stands. The organisers have offered ESDA members the option of either 6 or 9 square-metre stands. ESDA has also negotiated a 5% discount on the cost of stands for members.

In addition, the ESDA café/meeting area will be serving coffee to visitors at no charge. ESDA exhibitors can put up brochure stands in the meeting area and network with visitors and customers.

To promote the various members exhibiting at the expo, an ESDA advert in the visitor guide will include details of all the ESDA exhibitors. Moreover, the association will be listed on the Securex East Africa website with a link to a separate exhibitor page for each ESDA exhibitor.

The association is also investigating group services for freight, travel and accommodation.
