July 2017 News & Events, Surveillance, Access Control & Identity Management

Came BPT South Africa held open days on 6 and 7 June 2017 at its Johannesburg office in order to have customers experience the new Came BPT brand as well as the new VisionBPT and MileSight ranges.

The renewed Came Group sees a symbol of change in its new corporate branding: ‘The perfect blend of technology and people.’

CCTV and access control product manager, Tony Verwey, presented and outlined the latest enhancements to the AHD and the MileSight range of IP products. Technical manager, Nico Broodryk, explained and demonstrated the Came Connect – cloud-connected technology for gate and home automation. He placed emphasis on the Domotic Home Automation and IP360 – a full IP intercom system.

Came Connect is the technology for remotely controlling all the operators, home automation and intercom systems. Thanks to the Internet, users and installers can now efficiently manage all of the automation and safety systems from any mobile device such as a smartphone, tablet or PC.

There were two prize draws and the winners of an AHD 4-channel complete DVR and camera kit were Gerhard Odendaal from GER-COR Metal Construction and Stephen Nicholson from Stephen Nicholson Technologies.
