The 29th Southeast Asian Games, commonly known as Kuala Lumpur 2017, is a regional multi-sport event that will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 19 to 31 August 2017, with 405 events in 38 sports to be featured in the games.
If ticket numbers at the 2015 event are emulated, then over three quarters of a million people can be expected to throng the main stadium in Bukit Jalil. The Rotalok mechanism has a self-centring rotation system, whereby the rotor returns to its starting position after every rotation of the turnstile arms. Designed by professional engineers, the bi-directional operation of the mechanism affords maximum flexibility for stadium customers. Adding extra personal safety and wellbeing to the equation, the Anti-trap safety system ensures that no mid-rotation locking or trapping occurs in the event of a power failure.
