SW Security Solutions SA, paints Turffontein pink

November 2016 News & Events

SW Security Solutions SA hosted members of the security industry for a charity event at Turffontein Race Course on 15 October. With the help of several other companies that co-sponsored the event, R25 000 was raised for Pink Drive, a national initiative for breast cancer education and awareness.

With Neil Andrews, host of Supersport’s Monday Night Football show as the master of ceremonies, the all-afternoon gala event featured nine races named in honour of the sponsoring companies.

“SW Security Solutions SA wanted to do something different for their clients and suppliers,” explains the company’s managing director, Kevin Monk. “After some deliberation it was agreed to host the SW Security Solutions race day at Turffontein Race Course. Having this event in October, which is international breast cancer awareness month, made it a no-brainer to support this worthy cause. We engaged with our partners and suppliers to come on board as co-sponsors and had an overwhelming response.

“Needless to say the day was a huge success, thanks to all or co-sponsors on the day Regal Distributors, Reditron, Stryker, DCB Logistics, Risktech Solutions and Hi Tech Security Solutions, as well as a big thank you to the Phumelela Marketing team. A good day’s racing was had by all and the day had a perfect ending having raised R25 000 for the Pink Drive, our charity of the day. We look forward to an even bigger, even better day next year.”
