October 2016 Products & Solutions, Surveillance, Infrastructure

Uniview recently launched the NVR516-128. Capable of handling 128 cameras, 16 SATA HDDs of 8 TB each, (totalling 96 TB of memory, as well as two miniSAS ports to connect an extra disk enclosure for additional storage) and two decoding cards. Uniview’s fan-less design (supported by the 201/202/301 series) also ensures a quiet living and/or workspace with their ruggedised cooling fin as well as guaranteeing longer product lifespan. The NVR516-128 series’ touch panel design, which is both water and dust proof, adds to the NVR’s 19-inch-rack-mounted 3U chassis design, as well as adding to its durability.

Designed with the end user in mind, setup is quick and easy with play and plug; and upgrading the NVR516-64/128’s firmware is just as simple. By selecting 'upgrade' on your NVR menu, the latest firmware will be automatically detected, downloaded and installed for you. Adding third-party IP cameras is also made easy with ONVIF conformance.

Uniview’s mobile surveillance client app, EZView, allows the consumer to monitor their site remotely from anywhere in the world, allowing live viewing, digital zoom, snapshot, playback and search by time.
