CEM launches AC2000 Security Hub

August 2016 Products & Solutions, Perimeter Security, Alarms & Intruder Detection, Integrated Solutions

Blending IP security surveillance systems and alarm processing into a single, simple and intuitive user interface, AC200 Security Hub is a flexible and highly configurable central command and control platform that manages all events and alarms within the AC2000 access control system and its integrated sub-systems; including video, fire, intruder and building management systems.

The AC2000 Security Hub is one interface for all command and control functions, offering better vision of priority alarms to improve security and help increase operational efficiency. In one alarm and event management platform security personnel can process alarms, view associated video, run ad hoc reports and so much more.

Boasting a modern, powerful and highly intuitive user interface that can handle advanced alarm and event functionality and processes, Security Hub has been designed with control centre environments in mind, with built-in feature sets that make the application intuitive.

Features include graphical workflow tools, alarm pop-up, alarm escalation, priority alarm banner, graphical maps, customisable icons, multi-screen support and much more. With AC2000 Security Hub, the security of your site is clearly more visible and much more manageable.

Security Hub supports the use of multiple screens, simplifying daily operations and reducing the risk of missing or not handling important security events. Specific application tabs such as Video Micro-Viewer, Alarm Processing and Generated Reports are easily undocked from the main AC2000 workstation and freely positioned on separate screens to optimise event visualisation and improve alarm response times.

The new platform also provides local or multi-site security management for real-time monitoring and processing of alarms and events across multiple security systems including access, video, intrusion, fire and building management systems. Security Hub enables simultaneous operation by multiple users, who can each design and save their own custom screen layout templates. User restrictions determine who is allowed access to specific configured maps, devices and alarm types based on assigned criteria.

AC2000 Security Hub facilitates the creation of a sophisticated site-specific command and control centre that is highly configurable by security operators to meet your unique security requirements. Configurable elements include advanced alarm processing workflows, maps, icons and sounds, alarm escalation, user restrictions and reports.

Security Hub Graphical Maps features dynamic configurable icons and sounds to represent device status, alarm control, alarm isolation and reporting directly from devices placed on the map. Maps can be configured in a flexible topology with configurable dimensions, icon sizes, dynamic alarm colour schemes and more. Users can configure shortcuts to custom third-party applications which run directly from within Security Hub maps. Security administrators can also configure external applications that should be started when a specific alarm is triggered in AC2000 – a function that can be critical in many scenarios.

With AC2000 Security Hub, security personnel have significantly better site security awareness. Using key features, critical alerts are displayed and security personnel are guided to the highest priority active alarms. A central command and control interface also ensures improved alarm handling and operational efficiency.
