Smart UPS on-line products

1 June 2016 Products & Solutions, Infrastructure

Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has announced the availability of recent updates to the popular Smart-UPS On-Line products from APC. The SURT2000XLI will be replaced by the upgraded SRT2200XLI and the SURTD3000XLI will be replaced by the SRT3000XLI. The upgraded additions continue to offer a versatile UPS solution in unstable power conditions.

The Smart-UPS On-Line designed to provide high-density, double-conversion and online power protection for servers, voice or data networks, medical labs, and light industrial applications.

A noteworthy improvement to the SRT2200XLI and SRT3000XLI is better range of control over input voltage and frequency of both half and full load operations. The UPSs therefore offer extremely tight output voltage regulation, frequency regulation, internal bypass and input power factor correction.

Says Elrica Quick, APC product manager at DCC: “The upgraded Smart-UPS On-Line range provides value to customers with demanding power conditions. It offers a very wide input voltage window that allow for more fluctuations over a wide range of power supply anomalies as well as a higher power factor.”

APC’s Smart-UPS On-Line supports loads from 2.2 kVA – 10 kVA in a rack/tower convertible chassis due to the ability to add on external battery packs. The 6 kVA, 8 kVA, and 10 kVA extended models offer unity output power factors which allow the devices to support power-hungry blade servers or heavily loaded equipment racks.
