Solar backup for alarm panels

Daftech has launched a new solar backup unit for alarm panels. The unit is useful for charging batteries during power failures, load shedding and deliberate attempts by criminals to switch off power at premises during weekends and holiday periods. It charges batteries automatically during the daytime and disconnects when power is restored.

Launched under the PowerPak brand, it is available as a standalone unit or in kit form. There are two options available:

1. Alarm panel solar controller with adjustable solar panel bracket (wall and pole mount), 20 watt solar panel and a 6-metre cable.

2. Alarm panel solar controller with adjustable solar panel bracket (wall and pole mount), 50 watt solar panel and a 12-metre cable.
